At any rate, it's good to see people finally in the angry/engaged mode - as opposed to the frustrated/disinterested mode. I was sort of afraid to see this community die when John left.

I liked that story, even though I have a hard time remembering what the Crane expected to get out of their involvement. And what they got out of it in the end. And if that question is not easily answered, that's a problem.

So what you're saying - on the Crane forums - is that you want to move the Imperial Court to the Dragon lands, away from Toshi Ranbo?

I think it would also be a good solution if the Emperor formed a minor clan out of the Susumu and the Gyushi. Or allowed them to join their taint-free brethren among the Sparrow clan.

So what do you guys think about the Dragon choices? I think we would be one of the clans that would actually understand the impulse to preserve Shinseism, since we're all about preserving culture. For the other clans it sounds like weird priorities, but not for us.

By way of arming the peasants - I seem to recall that Crane have done such a thing with the invention of Mitsu-do. Might help to put that on the table.

I've just read the thread. One thing that struck me is that one Unicorn player asked what the Crane had to offer in a post-Kanpeki Empire. I really hope our friend Hand reads this, because it goes to show the other clans' perception: The Crane wouldn't contribute anything. That is the result of year...
