That's a great card for Crane. We would normally be bidding low and this would let us safe the fate for Events or using the fate we would have put on the Char into a new low char.

- reclaim the air ring in another conflict

Or can you only use the rings abilities once per turn?

Jeez that's strong.

I don't think this lets you use the abilities of the rings. I think its there mostly to clamed the fate and to deny your opponent the ring they want.

I vote for Crane style Honor dials.

Do we know what element this is? Seems like Air would be appropriate. This could be a huge swing with our personality who honors another character when honored.
