I'm very much in favor of dueling being widely playable. It really ought to be, given the setting, it's just that the CCG mechanics prevented it from coming through in old L5R.

Shameful Display into Noble Sacrifice sounds like an extremely solid play.

Holy shit, it's repeatable Encircled Terrain as a duel effect. That's incredible, especially considering you have the option to just lose the duel, gain honor, and nope out back home.

I like this holding, and I'm very happy that the Artisan theme is in from the start. It got sidelined far too much in the past. Same goes for the Asahina in general - Crane Shugenja have been at the back of the bus for a long, long time.

I must have missed where bowed character can use abilities, but it's pretty disappointing IMO.
