Postby Kakita Shiro » Fri Mar 27, 2015 1:41 pm

Claiming The Throne
Unique

Players have the ability: "Dynasty: If you, this turn, destroyed a Province in battle resolution, put two Rings into play by their own text, and gained 7 Honor, you may discard the Imperial Favor and pay 10 Gold to win the game."

Open: Put this Event into play.

Iweko II rules with actions more than words.

It's actually playable for us, with Air and Water, no?

Yup. So let's add it up.

Province taking Force, one additional Favor action, a 3PH Personality (preferably cheap), 2 Honor gain from either resolution or a strategy, 14-16 Gold Production without the Stronghold, and two Terrains.

If you want to try this, it might be a job for Hira Sensei.

Theoretically, you drop RoA (or RoV), gain some Action Phase Honor, go to Battle, putting either RoF or RoE into play at Resolution (RoW requires jumping through more hoops and specific cards in hand), gain the some more Honor, and have 12 Gold at Dynasty. You then have to buy (or Second City Market) The Ivory Courtroom, pay the 10G, and done. Still difficult and requires building for it without sacrificing consistency. *shrug*

You have to destroy a Province so Earth is out.

Oops, forgot. Well, you would have drop RoA, RoV, and/or RoF instead. RoW is nice, but it just has so many stipulations on it, and this strategy already requires lots of cards to be present to kick off reliably.
