When you choose a path, when it gets voted on, I will do my level best to give you the details I can without ruining the story. We want players to enjoy what they are getting. We want them to WANT to buy into the story, into the cards, into the game.

OK. After the publication of the Mantis paths, I believe we'll have to seriously rewrite. Looks like the threat is coming from the East this time, and from the sea. Looks like a Unicorn alliance will be more necessary as ever and that we might have a bit more refugees than we were planning. Looks like the current alliance we have with the Mantis will be tested. Just as a first thought, I'd suggest we extend a helping hand, except (and only in that case) if they try and absorb the Sparrow. In all other cases, I think we should show compassion and honor and all that towards them. Even if they have views on the Suzume, I think we should dissuade them by negociating first.
