To summarize without anyone having to support the Kolat by clicking that link:
1) Two core sets for a playset.
2) Monthly packs are called "Dynasty Packs"
3) Follows the "blue" track for Organized Play (same schedule for their non-Star Wars games).
4) Throughout the first 12 months, there will be eight special Kotei.
5) Advertisment and such begins in earnest on April 19th.

To unsummarise a little:
1) His exact words were "Two core sets to be competitive". They also say that about Thrones. In Thrones you still need 3 for a playset. Let's not misrepresent his words.
4) Those "special kotei" will be IN ADDITION to their usual Organised Play track, meaning these are extra things we are getting that other FFG games do not.

I forgot the Open series was sanctioned/expanded this year for X-Wing. However that means the only "comparable" thing they're doing currently is for their vastest hugest selling game, so that's a good sign.
