Isn't there going to be a time jump for Onyx? Are we even sure he'll still be the clam champ after the jump?

All AEG mentions of a time-jump have placed it immediately following Onyx. Little else is clear regarding it.

It occurred to me that Hoturi XP2CW is pretty darn similar to Doji Makoto. Thoughts?

He bears a certain similarity to the original printing of Doji Makoto, except even better at duelling and without the political ability. He doesn't particularly resemble the current printing of Makoto, except insofar as he's a Crane Champion and is therefore a Duelist Courtier with 6 Chi. The Onyx printing of Makoto... who knows?

Yeah, his original printing. Otherwise, I'd have said Makoto XP.
