So now AEG can start printing 0F/1C peeps, with no traits, an ability that is almost useless, and that costs 7 Gold, and you guys say it will be your favor monkey, so it's okay ? Of course not

!

I want to use good guys, really good guys. If then I bow them to take the favour, it's my problem, but I'm not going to put really bad 7GC cards just to say that I bowed a bad card to take the favour so it's alright.

But I think she could be of some use in a very specific deck, very uninteractive, and very not competitive for now.

Certainly not !
If I had to play Crane guys, they would be Scouts.
Reita for obvious reasons out of LSC.
Botan because he is for us some easy 5/3 who basically says : win 2 Honor a turn, whatever happens ^^ (out of LSC again)

How about instead of viewing her as a personaility, view her as a non-unique event that says what her limited ability? Maybe then?

In other words if she were samurai then you could use Will to really boost your province strength. As it is she works with Civility, and combos with Emma-O's Guidance.

She doesn't work with Civility, explicitly because she's not a Samurai.

Essentially, as it is I think she's good, but only in a deck specifically built to pile on PS boosts. As a Samurai she'd be AMAZING.

She's a terrible card. If you consider paying 7G for 3PH and a 1/3 is good, that's one thing. If you think that it will drastically change the game, you are mistaken. Province strength is known before an attack occurs and will be compensated for. To suggest that a personality that increases the province strength by 1 and does nothing else is worth the cost when there are spells that lower PS by 4, there is the Ring of Earth and Determined Force of which most will be in decks...

It's like putting in Jutsushi to stop a Unicorn battle maiden deck from attacking: it doesn't work when everyone has equal or more PH than your chi.

Reisei's province boost does not require any presence, and is very reliable. Still, you are probably right that her effect is not good enough for the price.

Well, would you pay 5 for a 1/3 body, no honor, and +2 permanent PS? Because I would. If she were a Samurai and could actually play any relevant actions.

+1 province strength, not +2. If it were +2 I'd actually consider her.
