Blue Crane Studios
« on: November 20, 2012, 02:46:42 AM »

Often at tournaments I will refer only to my own impeccable memory to keep track of my honor. My opponents sometimes will dispute my precise genius. At such times I wish I had brought something more concrete to write my honor down on.

Enter, Blue Crane Studios. Those in attendance at the Emerald Championships have already observed the cool, useful items they provide. If you're unaware though, BCS offers small notebooks crafted from L5R cards themselves.

For those that want an alternative means of displaying their stronghold, or perhaps prefer a somewhat iconic notebook:
Hidden Falls Dojo and the Ring of Void
If you wish a new and interesting way to display your clan loyalty:
The Cran Clan
Alternate view
Or perhaps you could use an Imperial Favor that serves double duty:
Crab, but whatcha gonna do
Or, ya know, just for fun and flavor:

Of course, it's a notebook, so you can write whatever you feel like in it. Take notes after the game for a tourney report. Jot down ideas for your L5R rpg. Write love letters to your Doji sweetheart. Whatever you like! There's a bit of immediately available book stock, but the pleasure here is customizing a book for your preference. Either send in a card, or make a request, and Blue Crane Studios will make you your own unique custom book.

Additionally, we all know those new full bleed strongholds are gorgeous, but they're also a bit awkward. Do you use it more vertical, and then the art is not displayed so pretty and the numbers aren't as legible? Or do you lay it perpendicular, but then can't really bow it? With these clan specific tokens you can easily indicate your stronghold status while maintaining it's prettiness. Which is what it's all about.

If interested in these delightful, compact, and low cost L5R accessories, contact Heather Rose at H.L.Rose@hotmail.com, or through BlueCraneStudios.etsy.com.

PS Blue Crane Studios doesn't claim any specific clan affiliation, despite the name. The artisan serves all clans equally, and happens to actually physically be a cerulean ibis.
