An important thing to keep in mind is more clans using a specific strategy the better. Currently Crane, Crab, Mantis, Unicorn and Lion are all good for Scouts; that seems good to me.

I would anticipate several effective Lion scouts with recon actions, coupled with at least a couple terrains that affect province strength. This could be an interesting focus of province and personality manipulation on the battlefield. I will be hopeful, for now...

You know, Lions tend to be cheap, and we can cover the honor requirement, so People who like scouts could totally run these guys, especially if you want to run a military deck.

All the Lion themes are.

If one deck is "good at making ranged attacks" and another is "Honor through dueling", and perhaps there's one that's "Send home", "Good at taking provinces" effectively means they're good at winning. The other decks are good at doing something, but its not winning.

I was making a snarky comment about how Lion is cheesy. Its neither true (completely) nor is it appropriate, and I apologize for it.

That said, I look forward to seeing new deck types come out. I take it no one's posted about the Scorpion yet... Thats a deck type I was really looking forward to. Scorpion Yojimbos. Didn't think they'd throw Paragon into the mix.
