Not unless it's a set release promo. The timeframe leads me to believe it's going to be a seasonal tournament kit promo.

I find it amusing that when Dishonor gets a tool, it is never good enough, but when there is even the smallest tool against dishonor, ''THE SKY IS FALLING!''

This card is a great tool for dishonor, I will hate to see it enter play.

You do realize that the Bazaar is the single strongest dishonor meta card ever printed, right? People can try to dismiss that or marginalize it all they want with 'but in this environment...' arguments, but it doesn't make it any less true.

Den of Iniquity is a solid holding that will PROBABLY see play in courtier and magistrate dishonor decks. It is comparable and slightly stronger than other similar cards of the past. It is not remotely comparable to the bazaar.

Den of Iniquity reads: play dishonor as you always have.
Rugashi Bazaar reads: If you are crane magistrates, dragon magistrates, Kaiu honor, any lion deck, or half of the unicorn decks, and choose to run this card, if your opponent is dishonor, wreck them.

There may be options, there may not even be reason to run the Bazaar. But if there is enough reason to run it, the way it swings the game is not remotely comparable to how den of iniquity does. It's like getting as excited over seeing Ayano as you do over seeing Makoto on the flip.

I really think that 'single strongest dishonor meta card ever' is more than a bit of hyperbole. For one, it does nothing to affect honor losses effects. Second, it doesn't improve the more loss there is. Third, it only responds to Action phase losses, not Battle losses. Fourth, it scales with the PH of the personality, meaning it has a fairly narrow scope of decks that it is useful in. Last, while force is necessary to take provinces, it doesn't win battles on its own.

Unless all of your bow/sendhome/kill is dependent on your opponent having low force, Rugashi Bazaar doesn't affect those actions at all. All of your Action-phase control still works. All of your defensive actions still work, you just can't leave quite so many enemy personalities at the battlefield for resolution.

Until there's a non-unique card that says "Reaction: Before you lose honor from another player's card effect: Negate the loss, and prevent any further honor loss for the rest of the current phase" you and your dishonor deck aren't as bad off as you think.

Den of Iniquity is one of the first standard legal holdings that produce a recurring honor loss, if not ever then at least for a while. That automatically makes it a good card for most, if not all Dishonor decks for most of the arc.

The biggest kicker on Den is the restriction on not being able to attack. If that means it isn't for you, then fine. But this is a good card the much more common defensive dishonor deck.

yeah, it would have been announced on april fools for it to be such a joke. However, on april 1st I could see a joke "everybody gets to proxy this card because nobody has it" that isn't true.

I have used this card (proxied) in my courtier dishonor deck.

It is magic. This card is one of those "stop the honor-runner" cards. For those non-military dishonor decks, I love this card.

'This card is dangerous for me, I will pretend that it won't exist!'

I'm pretty sure this is a real card and it will come out as AEG says it will. April 1st jokes are done on April 1st typically, not months and months in advance to get people looking forward to it only to then laugh in their faces once the card is denied. That doesn't make sense. That is not good economic practice.

Edit: Though I do agree that it has taken them a while to get us information about this cards release. That is annoying.
