Oh well. Jack is now down. A decklist would still not go amiss here in any case. ^.^

The event isn't even over and people are already after a decklist.

I'm not certain Jack is actually on these boards. But if he plans on posting it he'll do so, if he doesn't he won't, people sat around making comments about it aren't likely to change that.

Hopefully we'll get a Scorpion win.  ;D
It would be nice to get another clan on the board.

The event is over for Jack. No need to be so pretentious, in a time when most players think Crane don't have a leg to stand on Jack was successful, so yes, people want to see a decklist, and they want to see it as soon as they hear how successful he was. When/if he decides to post it is up to him, but you can't blame the player base for being curious.

IF you're going to act like that then perhaps I should point out that when Crane place like this, the response that normally comes out of these threads is a feeling of entitlement to the decklists as opposed to simple curiosity.

Just because he's knocked out doesn't mean he left the event/hotel right away. Not everyone has web phones access. Even the people that DO post lists usually take the time to write up a report to go with it.  That takes longer than you'd think unless you just put a W/L record and the briefest of notes.

My bet: he was playing courtier honor with duels and hit the shiro chugo deck and deflated.

Too much arguing, not enough celebrating!
This is like the First time an Irish person has won the Irish Kotei in like 8 years.  :o
Congrats to all the guys, and congrats to David Russell who won the Kotei with Scorpion Paragons.
Carl Boyle won the Honor competition.

I'm not interested in a decklist however it'd be interesting to see what he played against, and what his deck idea was, whether Courtiers magistrates or a mix or dare I say Shuggies or scouts

I was playing off the Aerie. No courtiers. Of the 7 games I won over the weekend, four were military victories and three were honor.

In the swiss rounds I went 50 / 50 against both Shiro Chugo and Shamate Keep honor (played against two of each). My ability to play the game collapsed when I made it to the top four and a series of huge mistakes caused me to lose my first game against Ken's Parajimbos when I had otherwise been in a very comfortable position. The round went to time before we finished the second game (in which I was playing better than I had in the first game but was slipping a bit behind I think (really don't want the game going long against Parajimbos) and so Ken went through by default.

Think the deck was good enough to make it to the final in the hands of a more skilled pilot.

Grats on the T4 anyway, Ken and Dave are both great players, mistakes against them are usually pretty damned costly. If it helps, you're now officailly the best Crane this season so far ;)
