Can't be used during battle, which diminishes its effectiveness somewhat unless lockdown/control becomes dominant.

It helps with attaching while bringing personalities into play with the Spider SH. I'll attach something just to bring it in for less and give it to someone I don't necessarily want to have. ie Keeping a weapon on Omigawa is paramount so I'd transfer it there.

I didn't say it was useless, just that not being Battle/Open makes it a little bit more dependant on how much Open Phase control there is in order to maximize its effectiveness.
