It's really not all that much of a drawback when considered against the deck he's likely to be seeing play in.

Even without Cavalry, I would have played him in Tamori/DBC. With it, he's even better. He's a highly mobile spell platform.

Boxable cavalry is overrated. I abused it (I played city of tears military last arc). It didn't help me make the cut. Good players always had answers and because I didn't buy two holdings on first turn, my gold production was always screwed up. I had better standings when I gave a lot of thought to who I tried to blitz.

Who said anything about blitzing? Buy 2 holdings turn 1, then buy 4 personalities with cav turn 2. That was the real power of the deck. Blitz is bad.

Good, but I'm not excited about him. He doesn't give the Tamori deck what it needs, more cards that provoke the opponent into attacking.

And as a spell platform for a military deck he's functional, but the 8HR slows him down a little.

Still, good card.
