This card seemed pretty narrow until I realized it counters...

Steel on Steel MIGHT ACTUALLY WORK vs Kensai?

YESPLS!

This also helps any deck with Sneak attack (or Naval) because they don't have to worry about Entrenched / No Time! :(

Is it capable of stopping an opponent's copy of Inexorable, or is "will not" different from "negate"?  I looked at the rules wiki, but it's late and my eyes started spinning at the wall of text regarding negation...

Since Inexorable itself doesn't negate, it shouldn't be able to stop itself.

It doesn't say "negate a negation". It says it =will not some other effect that has the word negation in it=.
Again, Inexorable doesn't negate, it turns off a negation. So another Inexorable can't turn off itself.

Good card. If only it had at least 1 more FV I would consider more for my dueling deck.

P.S.Forging destiny doesn't happen in the Combat Segment.

Hum.  Sounds like a sequence of things where no one will actually do anything. 

We have a counter for move in and a counter for counters. 

Seems like my deck is losing room for proactive actions.

That is indeed the problem.  I certainly do see all of the listed cards in various decks.  However, it's going to be hard to find the right balance of offense vs defense.

Sir, I implore you to reconsider. Not only is it almost becoming fact that no one focuses except to play meta, but A dueling deck can actually survive with a few 2s and even 1s. Especially since duelist can refocus out a single card.

Don't let low FVs stop you from paying good cards.

Official preview is up.

This card does nothing against redirection or delay effects. It's a poor man's Determination/Fall On Your Knees, but most decks will have to have it, so expect to see the price of it shoot through the roof fairly quickly.
