well, I've kinda settled into the idea that Mantis will have no problem with ranged attacks. This is no scout so I'm hoping, just hoping, I don't see her out of Koshin keep.

I'm sure I remember at least one of the main DT explicitly saying how it had been a mistake.

I'm sure I remember at least one of the main DT explicitly saying how it had been a mistake.

A Dragon's Favor with the new Equip rules is an (almost) free Naval Ranged Attack on a Thunder chick. It's only cost is running the risk of Effortless.

And in most cases, probably won't be able to be negated.

Good card, though I still find the fact that a 9g personality has an additional cost (bowing something) to performing their sole action is annoying, but that's not going to do much to stop her. Her 9g might though, haven't actually seen a Thunder deck in EE yet, but isn't this their second 9g 4F personality dependent upon a spell to make the most of?

Yes. The other one gains +2F with a spell and can reduce or increase the strength of ranged attacks.

Attach before you Ambush. Most players wait for their Open phase 0gc attachment hate to hit multiple targets. Sling a single copy of A Dragon's Favor on any naval shuggie (bonus points if you hit Sasako) and voila! Instant Naval Ambush Kill.
