Gen Con will see a story-line vote take place that launches players into the core of Celestial Edition. The ramifications and effect of this vote is the only the begining of dire circumstances the Clans will have to face. Few times have players had the chance to affect the life of a major character in this dramatic of a way.

Im not going to get into the "whoa is me" stuff, and just lay out opinion, since we need to gather some ideas for thoes who of our clan who will be going and voting.

I think the vote should be Daigotsu or Naizen. I much as I like Naizen, I think that such a shakeup to them or the Spider would cause for some rather intreging story. Added to it, to me Kei and Tsukimi haven't been around long enough to really phase anyone, the Lions have lost two champions in quick succession...and I kinda like Paneki.

Whats you guys opinion on this?

We really ought to vote to off Daigotsu though. While he's cool, think about the implications of a mortal Fu Leng and a Spider clan in need of a new champion...

Kuon may be checking out anyway, considering recent flavor. It'd be a waste to just kill him via plague instead.

Nah, Daigotsu is easily the best target. I want to see a Fu Leng card printed with "Spider Clan Champion." :boogie:

While Fu Leng being a champ would be epic, I think Daigotsu makes a far better villain (sometimes bordering on anti-hero). He's a more interesting character with goals, hopes, fears, and family. Fu Leng is...a psychopathic sociopathic megalomaniacal mustachio-twirling bag of crazy.

I'd say Kuon as well, honestly. The fact that he's already on his way out contributes rather than detracts from the argument, I think. Like Dumbledore!

This is disappointing. I don't enjoy seeing voting tied to a clan champion's death much less "buy more votes", for any clan. Votes should be for benefits not punishments, imo.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Unicorn got the short end of the stick. Maybe Samurai feelings have passed, but there was a lot of resentment about them at that time. I don't know who I would vote for, no idea really.

That'd hit them too hard imho... The three armies are just rebuilding themselves, the clan now really needs a charismatic leader. The Unicorn got the Lion war x2, the WotDF invasion recently, and after that the plague; let them be at peace for a while.

The problem voting for a guy with the shadowlands taint, what says he will stay dead? Also, that would have to be one hell of a plague to kill a guy that has something(the taint) that usually after they die, they come back to life as undead. Pretty much I am saying I would vote for Daigotsu only to see how exactly him dieing from the plague would be possible and what happens to him after he is dead. I mean he has died once already, a little death doesnt seem to keep the Dark Lord down.

Yeah Kuon. Minimize the hate since as said, he's on the way out anyway. Also kind of a sad way to go for a powerful warrior to meet his end by disease and not in battle.
