If anyone would be interested in pooling money for a bid to obtain Fox's services this GenCon, this is your chance.

I'll once more opt as point man, and anyone can feel free to PM me offers of what they would feel comfortable contributing.

Once I recieve enough offers, I'll PM Fox with a bid.

No one would have to send me any money unless the Crane bid is accepted.

I was going to start this thread, thanks very much Ben for taking the initiative!  For those unaware, Ben was the winning bid last year, so if he's willing to start the thread this year I think thats an indication that he was satisfied with the results :)

First, I want to say thank you for the people that gave consideration and have contributed to the bounty!  The support is very much appreciated, Ill do my best to make the Crane proud!  As for Maidori's response:


I was the highest finishing Crane last year, having finished in the top 8.  Also, of the 4 Kotei's Ive won, 3 of them are in the midwest, which is generally recognized as the toughest fields.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, some people had to withdraw their offers.  I guess Ill open up the bidding for another week or so, but realistically I dont expect anything to come out of it this late in the process.  At this point since Ive turned away other offers Im going to limit this to Crane.  If things dont work out then Id like to say thanks to those of you who did attempt to contribute, as well as thank you to Ben for organizing the collection process.
