The Legion of Two Thousand specifically have been seen in a higher light in recent dynasties (I forget if they've actually been appointed a higher station or not, but I believe they were given/turned into an Imperial Legion in the not so distant past?). Legion ronin tend to get looked upon more favorably and, heck, ronin in general have been regarded a little more highly since the 1st Toturi Dynasty.
