7FP and 2-3 Imperial Artificers would be craaaaaaaazy.

I'm having a hard time trying to guess if you are being sarcastic so I'm sorry if I missed it! but...

the real question is.... Is it worth to run Imperial Artificer just for that card cycle?

And on topic! The deck looks cool, I've been looking for some good mantis to build one just for testing purposes and this one is pretty good  :D

At cycling your deck into the discard pile.  Is that an advantage?  I'm not so sure. :D  In a skilled players hands (read that as: someone who knows exactly what card is going to shut down the opponent's deck).

I'm not that kind of player..... yet.

Damn beaten to it by mere seconds lol.

Rarely do I find that every card in my hand is the best one possible.  Against each Clan or decktype there should be ones that are better than others.  For the crazy duelists among us, it also tells us exactly how many 4s, 3s, 2s and 1s are left in our deck.

You almost always want an Impromptu Duel or Forging the Gift for 4 honor each.

Sometimes you really want Wall of Honor, Peaceful Discourse, Turn the Tide, or what not to gain honor, win a battle or save a province.

Yeah I completely agree, its just with the favor and pitching a card for Hariya I usually feel i have enough cycle, that and i only really have 2 attachments in the deck (Crane sword and Hand).

The thing I'm iffy is spending gold on "nothing" especially since I'm bowing an acrobat troupe every turn, i already find myself struggling to buy guys on my dynasty and have gold for an Imperial Adjudication or Control.  :-\

It's not something I'd do until T4 or T5 unless I had a lot of leftover gold.

It's nice that we have a guy who can straighten holdings.

You're not spending gold on nothing. You're spending gold to improve your hand. When the card cycle is available it is not mandatory, it is optional. And usually it's good to have lots of options.

But if you are straightening holdings then chances are you are not dishonoring other peeps or locking a bowed peep with our illustrious selection of favor required actions. ;)

Out of 7FP, you should be able to safely run two of the three peeps that require the favor.  It's just a matter of deciding which ones you want.
